Welcome Dr. Andrea Runnels, new Coordinator of Choirs at Schreiner University!

Dr. Runnels joined the Schreiner music team in spring 2022 to help recruit, guide, and build our choral programs. Schreiner University has a long history of outstanding choral music, and we look forward to Dr. Runnels expert leadership! Please see her picture, contact information, and bio on this page.

We are looking for students from ALL programs and majors on campus that want to sing at the college level to join our choir! In addition to regular concerts our Concert Choir has the opportunity to sing every year with the Symphony of the Hills, which is the regional professional orchestra located in Kerrville and serves as the symphony orchestra at Schreiner University. This is a wonderful opportunity that many singers never receive!

Schreiner University offers engagement scholarships to students in all academic majors for singing in choir–these are added onto any of our academic merit scholarships that range up to $10,000 and $20,000 annually.

No audition is required to join the Concert Choir (MUSC 2102) and to receive the Choir Scholarship!

Fall 2022 Rehearsals will be on Mondays and Thursdays from 4:25 pm – 5:50 pm.

Concerts on campus and off campus in local churches and the beautiful Cailloux Theater in downtown in Kerrville.

National and International Choir Tours!

Music outreach opportunities in the community!
