Classification: Junior

Major: Environmental Biology

Why SU?
I chose Schreiner because the moment I stepped on campus I had a sense of belonging through which I knew that this University was where my college education career needed to start.

SU helping me reach my goals:
Schreiner has given me opportunities that I would not have dreamed of. It has guided me in achieving my career goals through the help of my advisors, it has taught me to grow as a person and an athlete through my professors and my coaches, and it has allowed me to find my own achievement through experience.

Advice to an incoming freshman:
It will take time to learn how to transition into adulthood, but just because you fail doesn't mean you lost. Learn how to study in a way that benefits your needs, learn what works and what doesn't when it comes to timing your priorities, and most of all don't give up.

Favorite study spot:
The STEM Zone

Favorite restaurant in Kerrville?
Bumdoodlers

Sport:
I am one of the captains on the Shotgun team. I have been involved in the sport since high school and when I first started shooting with Schreiner's team, I realized I wasn't just joining another athletic group but rather a family.

Favorite Campus events:
Blood Drives & MFC's workout classes.
