Become a Volunteer

The Community Volunteer Program at Schreiner University is designed to bring members from the larger community into the campus environment to assist the University in its mission to provide a personalized, integrated education that prepares its students for meaningful work and purposeful living in a changing global society.

In turn, volunteers have the satisfaction of contributing their time and energies in areas of personal interest; interacting with a vibrant community of students, faculty and staff; gaining new knowledge and life experiences; and, developing a new circle of friends and acquaintances.

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are involved throughout the campus in a variety of positions. A sampling of some of our volunteer opportunities includes working with projects in the library or the Mountaineer Fitness Center, presenting at workshops or in the classroom, mentoring individual students, helping at the bookstore or in campus offices, assisting sports coaches, advising student organizations, and assisting with special programs such as Blood Drives and Food Bank distributions.

Come in and talk with us about your interests. There are new volunteer opportunities opening every day!
