Schreiner has been recognized for its commitment to affordability. From our fixed price inclusive tuition to our commitment to covering a high percentage of financial need for our Pell-eligible students, and providing scholarships and aid to over 95% of our students, Schreiner does everything possible to make college affordable. Endowed Scholarships underpin our ability to make a Schreiner education affordable.

QUICK FACTS

  • Our goal is to raise $700,000 this year to provide tuition grants for Hill Country students to attend Schreiner.
  • 100% of the money raised goes to scholarships for students with need in Bandera, Edwards, Gillespie, Kendall, Kerr, Kimble, and Real Counties.
  • With your help Schreiner makes college affordable by distributing nearly $11 million in financial aid each year

Matthew D. WaltonBorn and raised in Fredericksburg, Texas I am so glad that I have been able to go to college in the Hill Country. In high school, I was active in local art classes, swim programs, and musical performance. In all of this my passion was people and building relationships. I came to Schreiner because it has the same passion. Schreiner University has given me the chance to grow academically, personally, and professionally in ways that I could have never imagined. I am so grateful for the Hill Country College Fund providing me with this amazing opportunity.

Major: Finance and Accounting
Minor: CIT Programming

Graduation: May 2022

Annie WallaceMy name is Annie Wallace, and I am a junior at Schreiner University. I am pursuing a Sport Management degree and a minor in Sports Communication with the hope to one day plan events for a large sports organization. I want to thank all those who donate to the Hill Country College Fund because your help allows my peers and me to pursue a pathway in higher education at Schreiner University. Your contributions make it possible for students to follow their dreams and make the world a better place through their accomplishments and service. We couldn’t do it without you.

Annalise SchoeningMy name is Annalise Schoening and I am a freshman marketing major here at Schreiner. Through the Hill Country College Fund, I have had many opportunities to be involved in the spectacular Schreiner environment. Some of these things include being in the Songkeeper learning community, being a singer for the 9:09 Baptist Student Ministry’s worship team, being invited to join a freshman honors society by the name of Alpha Lambda Delta and being a part of the Muse Magazine’s editorial board. Growing up I never knew how I was going to be able to pay for college. My family didn’t have a college fund for me, and it was a constant question of how I would be able to afford to attend a university. It is through the Hill Country College Fund that I can attend my first-choice college and fulfill my childhood dream of studying business at a university. I am very thankful for all the donors a part of the Hill Country College Fund who have given me this wonderful chance and opportunity to further my education and be the future business owner I hope too someday be. Thank you to everyone who is a part of the Hill Country College Fund for helping students like me.
