“Schreiner University Community Garden”
Presented by: Ruth Grubesic, Associate Professor of Nursing and Public Health
Dr. Ruth Grubesic, Associate Professor of Nursing and Public Health, will present the program at the Schreiner University Campus Community Garden on the grounds of the Tea House located just east of Faulkner Hall. Parking is available near the north entrance gate to the Garden and there is shaded seating while listening to the program. Dr. Grubesic will talk about the history of the garden, show photos of its formulation, and talk about how the university uses the garden for classes.
After the presentation we will move to the Trailhead Beer Garden for catered light hors d’oeuvres, snacks, and beverages. The area includes shaded seating, and we are hoping for a beautiful day. The tavern will be open for those who wish to purchase and enjoy a glass of wine or beer.
Please let us know if you can join us by calling Susan Carver, 830-792-7298 or you can email Susan at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Hope to see you at the Garden on June 17 at 2 p.m. and then enjoy fellowship at the Trailhead. Please wear casual clothing and comfortable shoes for outdoor fun.
