Music through the Threads of Time – Schreiner Music Department

We are delighted to showcase the depth and talent of many of our students and faculty in the Music Department: Dr. Donald Crandall, Professor of Music; Mr. Mark Nugent, Instructor of Performing Arts and the String Quartet; Mr. Michael Kahl, Director of Choral Program; Mr. Marty Lenard, Assistant Professor of Music; and Mr. Mike Kasberg, Jazz Band including Gary Hatch on the bass.

The Schreiner String Quartet will be performing and discussing the role of the Negro Spiritual in the development of American music. The Schreiner Choir will be singing a mix of early American choral pieces. The Schreiner Band will feature a true American composer – Aaron Copland including a short presentation on the life and career of Copland. The Mike Kasberg Jazz Band with Gary Hatch on the bass will finish our program strong with true American music – Jazz!

The cost to join Schreiner Alliance at this time is $25.

Members may bring a guest for $25. Please include guest’s name in your response.
