Why did you choose Schreiner?
I chose Schreiner University because of the family atmosphere, the abundance of resources, the opportunities I have during and after I graduate from Schreiner, as well as how they treat me as an individual

How has Schreiner helped you reach your goals?
Schreiner is amazing because it has SO many opportunities and resources available to their students. The best part is that the faculty is like family and you truly build great relationships with each of them and they WANT you to succeed.

What advice would you give to an incoming freshman?
Get involved, step out of your comfort zone, and challenge yourself! College is all about meeting new people, learning new things, and finding yourself.

Where is your favorite study spot?
STEM Zone and Library

Favorite restaurant in Kerrville?
Soaring Dragon

What club, sport, activity, program, are you in and why did you join?
I am actually a part of A LOT of organizations on campus and they all are so important to me:

Honors Living and Learning Community: I joined this wonderful group because it challenges me every semester by pushing me out of my comfort zone academically and personally. This organization also helped connect me with students from a variety of majors as well as different grade levels.

Mountaineer Mentor: I joined this organization because I truly enjoy working with people, especially when it involves bringing people together! I am so prideful of being a Schreiner Mountaineer and this organization allows me to share my Schreiner experience while also helping students find themselves, find their place at Schreiner, and pursue their dreams.

Student Government Organization (SGA): I joined SGA because It gives me a more professional experience while also giving me the opportunity to be a voice for the student body to make changes that the students want to see on campus.

Student Activities Board (SAB): This organization is probably the most dear to my heart because it has transformed me into the professional, confident, and motivated student I am today. SAB helps students learn leadership skills, professionalism, communication, and teamwork skills while having a fun, and exciting atmosphere. It also helped me connect with a bunch of students that I would not normally interact with due to them being in a different grade or major.

Ambassador: I became an Ambassador because I want to help students find their home like I found mine here at Schreiner University! I love connecting with families and sharing my Schreiner experience with them, while learning about why they decided to come and visit.

Favorite campus events?
My favorite events are all hosted by the Student Activities Board (SAB)! They are a great organization that have the most creative and exciting events on campus. SAB never fails at bringing the Schreiner community together and allowing students to take a small break from studying and meeting new people.
