Why did you choose Schreiner?
Why I chose Schreiner is because the location, it is a smaller school, and students have a great relationship with their professors.

How has Schreiner helped you reach your goals?
Schreiner offers so many amazing opportunities for all students. I am able to email my professors with any questions I may have and will hear back from them within 10 minutes. The university offers so much tutoring as well as a writing center that will read over any essays I bring in.

What advice would you give to an incoming freshman?
My advice is to go to class and study study STUDY! Yes, you will have days where you just do not want to go to class, but push through it, come back to your dorm, and take a nap.

Where is your favorite study spot?
I like to study in the library and the stemzone. Favorite restaurant in Kerrville? My favorite restaurant in Kerrville is Billy Gene’s. Oh my goodness, they have the best pies by far! And of course the food is great.

What RSO are you in and why did you join?

Favorite campus events?
Texas Heritage Days is such an excellent event that Schreiner hosts. It brings so many people together and presents such an amazing culture. It is also a time for adults and kids to come and learn more about Schreiner.

Why did you join a sorority?
I joined a sorority because I love the idea of having a group of sisters that support each other as well as be there for one another.

What has your experience in the Greek system?
I am a new member, so I am learning more and more every chapter meeting. My experience so far has been great!

What’s your favorite Greek life event?
So far, my favorite event is Hoedown. It was a country dance event at the pavilion here on campus. It brought people together to dance, sing, and mingle.

What’s it like to be apart of Greeklife?
It is soooo much fun! I love having sisters and getting to be apart of this big wonderful family. If I ever need anything or need some cheering up, I know my sisters will be there for me.

Who is your favorite professor and why?
My favorite professor is Krisann Muskievicz. I had her last year for medical english and she helped me figure out what I should major in. I was a history major last year and I was struggling but not in english. She opened my eyes to what I should major in and teach.
