Schreiner opens parking for eclipse viewing
To ensure locals and visitors secure a safe spot for viewing the April 8 total solar eclipse event in Kerrville, Schreiner University is making 100 parking spots available for $100 each on that Monday only. These include a limited number of ADA parking spaces. Bus parking is also available for $500.
Reservations and purchases for parking must be made by April 7, and will not be for sale on the day of the event. Anyone wishing to reserve a space in advance can call 830-792-7456 or email eventservices@schreiner.edu.
The parking is offered as an add-on to the campus’s four-day weekend of activities leading up to the eclipse on Monday, all designed to highlight Kerrville and the university’s perfect positioning in the path of totality for the solar eclipse. All events are free and open to the public.
