Schreiner University Expands Campus Footprint to Support Growth in Engineering and Enrollment

Schreiner University has expanded its main campus footprint with the addition of two acres, bringing the university’s total campus size to 245.59 acres. The expansion reflects continued enrollment growth and increased demand for Schreiner’s engineering programs.

The newly acquired space will support a significant upgrade to the university’s engineering lab facilities, expanding from 5,000 square feet to 7,600 square feet. The new on-campus lab is scheduled to open August 1, in advance of the Fall 2026 semester.

For the past three years, Schreiner’s engineering program has operated in partnership with Killdeer Mountain Manufacturing (KMM), utilizing off-campus lab space located at 2104 Memorial Blvd. While the partnership has been instrumental in launching and supporting the program, both organizations have experienced growth and now require additional space to meet their respective needs.

“The new on-campus lab space will provide students with improved access to resources, increased capacity for enrollment, and a more integrated academic experience within the university’s main campus,” said President Charlie McCormick.

This expansion aligns with Schreiner University’s long-term strategic priorities to grow enrollment, strengthen academic offerings, and enhance the overall student experience.
