Kerrville, TX – Schreiner University will host an art exhibit – the Hill Country Art Survey Exhibition and Awards Ceremony – featuring artwork by local area high school artists. This show was organized and executed by the Schreiner Arts Management students.

The exhibit runs from Dec 2 through Jan 17 on the second floor of the Floyd and Kathleen Cailloux Campus Activity Center (CCAC).  An opening and awards reception will be held, where cash awards will be presented on Sunday, Dec 8, from 3-5 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

The art will be on display in the CCAC from Dec 2 though Jan 17 for anyone to view.

The event is aimed to give talented high school artists an opportunity to exhibit in a juried show and to interact with the Schreiner community. Likewise, the Schreiner Arts Management students gain a valuable project-based learning experience.

For more information about this event, please contact Marcia Rae McCully, Division of Visual and Performing Arts, at 830-792-7422 or mrmcculley@schreiner.edu.
