KERRVILLE, Texas – Schreiner University will welcome students, alumni, and friends back to campus with a free outdoor concert headlined by nationally recognized singer-songwriter Michael Williams, a Top 20 finalist on American Idol (2023) and standout contestant on The Voice (2020). The Welcome Back Concert will be held Friday, August 29, 2025, from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Trailhead Beer Garden on campus, located at 2100 Memorial Blvd. in Kerrville.

The evening will feature Williams’ signature blend of pop, country, and soul influences, along with food, drinks, and plenty of opportunities for connection. Alumni are invited to mingle with each other and meet current and incoming Schreiner students, with a complimentary drink and snow cone as a special welcome.
