Transfer from Alamo Colleges to Schreiner University with no-cost tuition through the Schreiner University Promise Program.

If you completed the Alamo Promise Program and earned your associate degree, Schreiner University is committed to helping you finish your bachelor’s degree with clarity, support, and affordability. Through the Promise to Promise partnership, eligible students receive last-dollar tuition coverage for up to four consecutive fall and spring semesters.

How Does It Work?

Students do not need to apply separately for the Schreiner University Promise through the Alamo PROMISE to Promise partnership.

Eligible Texas residents who successfully complete the Alamo PROMISE Program and meet Schreiner University Promise criteria will automatically be considered.

Tuition is covered through a combination of federal, state, and institutional scholarships and grants, with the Schreiner University Promise applied after all other eligible aid is awarded.

Students who meet all eligibility criteria will have their Schreiner tuition covered up to the remaining unmet tuition balance.

Students may not see a specific award labeled “Schreiner University Promise” on their financial aid offer. Instead, they will see a combination of financial aid sources that cover all-inclusive undergraduate tuition.

Note: Schreiner’s Promise covers all-inclusive undergraduate tuition. In addition, students may be eligible for financial aid to help offset housing, meals, program fees, and other educational expenses.
