Schreiner University offers students the opportunity to complete their degree after attending another institution. We accept credits from all accredited colleges and universities and will let you know how those credits apply to a specific degree plan of your choice. Transfers are divided into several different groups in terms of application items. If you have questions, contact us at:

- Scores can be sent directly from the testing agency, included on official transcripts or downloaded and sent to admissions@schreiner.edu.

If a student has a GPA below a 2.0, additional items may be requested:

Students with LESS than 15 transferable hours

Students RETURNING to Schreiner without attending another institution
- If student has been away from Schreiner more than one semester or did not leave in good standing, apply as a transfer student and see details above
- If student has been away from Schreiner for one semester and left in good standing, please submit an Intent to Return Form.

Been Accepted? Here are your next steps…
- Visit campus (if you haven’t already!)
- Complete your FAFSA or TAFSA
- Pay your $200 commitment deposit on your Schreiner One account, by phone, or check.
- Once you pay your $200 commitment deposit, many more options will become available!
- Register for orientation on your Schreiner One
- Register for classes once you receive an email from the registrar
- Sign up for housing or if you qualify, complete the commuter form, on your Schreiner One account (Opens February 1 for fall semester)
- Complete your Health History Form on your Schreiner One account – DUE August 1st
- If needed, submit your Meningitis Vaccination record to health@schreiner.edu – DUE August 1st
- Submit your final transcripts – DUE by the first day of classes
- Complete your financial aid on your Schreiner One – DUE by August 1st
- Set up a payment arrangements for any remaining balance – DUE by August 1st

Schreiner University is a rolling admission institution. You can expect to hear information about the status of your application within 1 to 2 weeks after all items have been received.
Schreiner One is the admission portal used for all admitted to current students. Once you are accepted, you will receive an email with your login credentials. Be sure to check your spam folder if you do not receive it right away.
Email admissions@schreiner.edu – We can resend your information to the email we have on file.
Submit your transcripts to admissions@schreiner.edu and our registrar will provide a free unofficial transcript evaluation and degree audit. We have a transfer articulation agreement with Alamo Community Colleges in San Antonio. Feel free to review our Alamo Course Equivalency Guide or the Texas Common Course Equivalencies.

Scheduled events such as Schreiner Saturdays offer a variety of information sessions led by faculty, admissions staff, and students to allow prospective students to see what Schreiner University has to offer.
You will have the opportunity to experience campus on a tour led by a current student as well as meet with a faculty member and one of our admissions team members to talk about your application, scholarships and financial aid! Tours are available Monday through Friday at 9 AM, 11 AM, 1 PM, and 3 PM.
