Alamo PROMISE to Schreiner University Hill Country Promise

Transfer from Alamo Colleges to Schreiner University with no-cost tuition through the Schreiner University Promise Program.
If you completed the Alamo Promise Program and earned your associate degree, Schreiner University is committed to helping you finish your bachelor’s degree with clarity, support, and affordability. Through the Promise to Promise partnership, eligible students receive last-dollar tuition coverage for up to four consecutive fall and spring semesters.
How Does It Work?
Students do not need to apply separately for the Schreiner University Promise through the Alamo PROMISE to Promise partnership.
Eligible Texas residents who successfully complete the Alamo PROMISE Program and meet Schreiner University Promise criteria will automatically be considered.
Tuition is covered through a combination of federal, state, and institutional scholarships and grants, with the Schreiner University Promise applied after all other eligible aid is awarded.
Students who meet all eligibility criteria will have their Schreiner tuition covered up to the remaining unmet tuition balance.
Students may not see a specific award labeled “Schreiner University Promise” on their financial aid offer. Instead, they will see a combination of financial aid sources that together cover tuition, books, and mandatory fees.
Note: While Schreiner’s Promise covers tuition, required books, and mandatory fees, students may receive additional aid to help with housing, meals, and other educational expenses.
