Frequently Asked Questions

Submit your transcripts (official or unofficial) to admissions@schreiner.edu or mail them to:
Schreiner University – Admissions
2100 Memorial Blvd, Kerrville, TX 78028

Our Registrar’s Office will provide a free, unofficial transcript evaluation and degree audit to show how your credits apply toward your degree.

After we receive your application and official transcripts, our Registrar’s Office will complete your transcript evaluation. Once processed, you will receive your admissions decision.

Schreiner University requires official transcripts from all previously attended colleges and universities for a final admission decision. However, you may submit unofficial transcripts for conditional consideration during the application process. For any questions regarding document submission, we encourage you to contact the Admissions Office to ensure your application is processed without delay.

Please note:

  • Official transcripts are required before the start of your first semester at Schreiner.
  • CLEP and AP score reports must be submitted if you wish to have additional coursework considered for credit.

Once accepted to Schreiner, we ask you to submit a nonrefundable $100 deposit — which is applied toward your tuition — to secure your spot. Paying this deposit allows you to:

  • Register for classes
  • Reserve housing
  • Attend orientation

Once your $100 commitment deposit is processed (this usually takes about a week), you’ll be cleared to sign up for classes. Registration typically opens in April for summer and fall starters and November for spring starters. After your deposit is confirmed, you’ll get an email invite to schedule a personal advising session with our Transfer Advisor.
