Exercise Science is the study of scientific applications to human movements and performance. Since it is the means to all accomplishments, movement is one of the most important things that man does. The study of Exercise Science seeks to determine the physiological, psychological, and sociological factors influencing simple movement and/or exercise, and the program emphasizes the scientific application of these factors to human performance.
Sport, being comprised of specialized movements, has become a tremendous facet of human society and continues to grow, providing business opportunities and a greater need for managers of sport organizations. Thus, sport management entails aspects of running a sport business or organization such as sales, marketing, finance, facilities, leadership, human relations, among others.
