Eighty-eight Schreiner University Mountaineers made the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Student-Athlete Academic Honor Roll for the 2024 spring term.

“This has been an outstanding year by our student-athletes,” said Bill Raleigh, Athletic Director. “They have had success on the courts and fields, but more importantly they have achieved in the classroom. Eighty-eight student-athletes on the SCAC is outstanding and tribute to our students and coaches.”

To qualify, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade-point average of 3.25 for the term and be a regular member of a varsity athletic team in a sport sponsored by the conference.

Since its inception in the fall of 1997, over 35,000 male and female student-athletes from all SCAC schools have been recognized for their contributions in the classroom. This year’s 694 spring honorees are the third-most for the conference since the league started listing a separate winter and spring honor roll in 2016.
