Schreiner University is pleased to welcome Julie (Haglund) Fiedler '97, M.Ed. '06 as our new Alumni Development Officer. 

A proud Schreiner alumna and former Mountaineer volleyball player, Julie returns to her alma mater after nearly three decades in public education. Most recently, she served as Principal at Harper ISD and brings more than 29 years of experience as a teacher, administrator, and educational leader. Julie has been recognized with numerous honors, including being named the 2023–24 Texas Association of Secondary School Principals Principal of the Year. 

Julie and her husband, Scott, are excited to reconnect with the Schreiner family. Her passion for education, leadership, and building relationships makes her a wonderful addition to the Advancement team. Julie is little sister to fellow alumni Melissa (Haglund) Lee '92 and Theresa (Haglund) Menges '92. 

Julie will be working alongside Lea (Siebold) Nye '92, Assistant Director of Development for Alumni Relations, to strengthen alumni engagement and build meaningful connections with Schreiner alumni across the country. Together, they look forward to connecting with you at upcoming alumni events and on campus.
