SU Ornament Visit

Each year, Representatives from across the state of Texas choose one constituent to design a Christmas ornament to represent their district. This year, District 53 Representative Andrew Murr chose Schreiner University to create the 2022 ornament. District 53 includes Bandera, Crockett, Edwards, Kerr, Kimble, Llano, Mason, Medina, Menard, Real, Schleicher and Sutton Counties. The ornament was designed and created by Schreiner University senior, Zoey Cooper, who is majoring in graphic design and minoring in photography. The ornament will hang on the state Christmas tree which stands on the floor of the Texas House of Representatives at the Texas State Capitol in Austin, TX. The ornament also gets archived by the state. Past ornaments from all districts can be viewed at https://house.texas.gov/resources/holiday-ornaments/.
