The incoming freshmen class enrollment has increased by 16%, and the graduate class size has set a new school record, with a 41% increase from last year, bringing the total to 206 graduate students.
Schreiner’s student body reflects a diverse demographic, with 581 male students and 745 female students. Currently, 784 students reside on campus, contributing to the vibrant campus community. Schreiner students also represent a broad array of backgrounds, with individuals holding dual citizenship from countries such as Mexico, Honduras, Israel, Colombia, China, Poland, Great Britain, Korea, Democratic Republic of Congo, Nigeria, Costa Rica, Mauritania, and Venezuela.
“Schreiner University is experiencing unprecedented growth, particularly in our freshman and graduate programs,” said Dr. Charlie McCormick, President. “The rise in graduate enrollment shows that students are choosing Schreiner not only to start their educational journey but to advance and complete it here. Our programs are meeting the increasing demand for advanced education, and it’s clear that students recognize the value of continuing their academic and professional development with us.”
Other highlights include:
The Aviation program, which began last fall with eight students, has more than doubled in size to 19 new and returning students seeking to earn a bachelor’s degree as well as their Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Private and Commercial pilot certificates.
“We are truly excited about the growing interest in our Aviation program, which reflects the incredible opportunities available in the field.” said Carl Davis, Director of Aviation at Schreiner University. “Aviation offers not only rewarding, long-term careers but also high-paying jobs, and we’re proud to be preparing our students to succeed in this dynamic industry.”
