Schreiner University presents Mechatronics Industry Connect on Nov 15

Schreiner University’s Center for Talent and Workforce Development (CTWD) has announced the Mechatronics Industry Connect event, to be held on Friday, November 15, from 1:30 PM – 3:30 PM in the Cailloux Campus Activity Center at Schreiner University, Kerrville, Texas.

The event, a premier gathering focused on the future of workforce development in the rapidly growing field of Mechatronics, is the first to be offered by the CWTD, a new division of Schreiner University to provide workforce trainings and community education programs. It is designed to bring together industry leaders, educators, and community members to explore innovative approaches to address local workforce demands and future opportunities, according to Ben Nguyen, CTWD Director.

“This event promises to foster meaningful connections between academia and industry, highlighting the university’s commitment to addressing workforce needs while empowering students with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their careers,” Nguyen said. “Attendees will gain valuable insights into Schreiner University’s innovative strategies for preparing students for Mechatronics careers, blending mechanical engineering, electronics, and automation.”

The program will be followed by a reception and networking for attendees.
