Master of Business Administration in Ethical Leadership (MBA)

The Master of Business Administration in Ethical Leadership (MBA) degree is designed to strengthen candidates’ business competencies and advance business careers. The program satisfies the needs of working professionals with fully online classes and flexible enrollment throughout the year. Students can start in fall, spring, or summer semesters. The MBA program includes rigorous problem-solving assignments, business writing, professional presentations, field research, and team projects that foster leadership and networking skills.

Admissions Requirements

Candidates for the Master of Business Administration program must meet the following criteria:
  1. Complete and submit the online application form.
  2. Pay a $25.00 application fee (waivers may apply).
  3. Hold a Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college/university or approved international university.
  4. Submit final Official transcript with degree date and final GPA.
  5. For Direct admission, maintain a GPA of 3.00 or higher with a business-related undergraduate degree.
  6. For Provisional admission, maintain a GPA between 2.00 and 2.99 or hold a non-business undergraduate degree.
  7. Complete BSAD 5306/5307 Foundations courses at Schreiner if the undergraduate degree is not business-related (required as initial courses).
  8. Submit a resume detailing career experiences.
  9. Submit official university/college transcripts.
Note: Up to 9 semester hours completed within the last 7 years may be transferred.
Provisional applicants will be considered by the MBA faculty board. All applications will be processed upon receipt of complete documents, with decision notifications provided promptly.  Application deadlines are posted on Apply2SU.

Accepted? Here’s What’s Next:

  • Complete your FAFSA or TAFSA.
  • Submit your commitment form via Schreiner One.
  • If using financial aid, finalize your application through Schreiner One.
  • Set up a payment plan for any remaining balance.
  • Verify completion of a baccalaureate degree with a GPA of 3.0 or higher (foundation courses may apply).

Tuition per Credit Hour: $285

MBA Program Fee: $95

Length of the Program: 1 year (36 credit hours)

Our MBA program is eligible for federal financial aid, if you are interested in applying for Federal Direct Student Loan of up to $20,500 annually, you will need to complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.fafsa.gov. Our school code is 003610.

MBA Tuition, Fees, and Books/Course Materials are charged per session.
Students are responsible for purchasing their own books and course materials from the annual list provided or as directed by the course syllabus.

Dr. Woodhull began teaching at SU in August of 2001. He has over 49 years of experience in the government, corporate, and academia sectors. Dr. Woodhull’s research interests are focused towards marketing and management research in Mexico and South America, Business Anthropology and Cross-Cultural Management, Relational Models Theory, and Business Intelligence. Dr. Woodhull’s favorite pastimes are soccer, technology, and all things with an international flare; such as International travel, international cuisine, and global issues.
