Position Title: Football Work-Study Level 1
Department: Athletics
Reports To: Assistant Athletic Director/Football Coaching Staff

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Handle daily uniform laundry drying, folding and distribution
  • Assist with player gear issue and return, inventory, storage and repair
  • Maintain practice and game fields
  • Support practice operations with timely setup and takedown
  • Assist with sideline setup, communications gear, and hydration stations
  • Manage sideline logistics
  • Enter and organize recruiting data
  • Operate camera/drone for practice filming
  • Capture high quality photos and videos during practice and games
  • Manage social media and event calendar, build highlights content for website
  • Support branding for all sports where needed
  • Provide hospitality support for campus visits

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Daily laundry cycle for 100+ players including jerseys, towels, girdles, etc.
  • Pre- and post-practice gear distribution and inspection
  • Field setup, lining and maintenance for safety and quality
  • Maintain accuracy of player gear and return process
  • Set up of 5+ field stations daily
  • Prepare locker room, sideline tables, and game-day tools
  • Ensure smooth headset and replay operation
  • Deliver in-game equipment as needed
  • Operate end zone and sideline camera systems
  • Maintain up to date recruit CRM entries and contact lists
  • Create branded posts for X, Instagram and Facebook
  • Shoot and organize weekly practice and game visuals
  • Create storylines and highlights for weekly posts
  • Assist other sports with photography
  • Organize and support on-campus visit logistics

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

Be enrolled as full-time student at Schreiner University.
-Preferred to have at least one year of experience working with a football program at the high school level.

-Skills:

  • High school football program experience always a plus, but not required
  • Must have good people skills and strong work ethic
  • Must be able to lift heavy coolers and ice chests
  • Following the directions of your supervisors is very important, especially in an emergency situation
  • Knowledgeable in social media applications
