Position Title: Athletic Work-Study Level 1 – Athletic Equipment
Department: Athletics
Reports To: Associate Athletic Director / Equipment Manager
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintenance and cleaning of athletic equipment
- Maintenance of athletic facilities, courts, and common areas
- Laundry
- Water setup for Practices
- Organizational responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Manage and help maintain courts and facilities with guidance from Athletics Staff.
- Manage and maintain equipment with guidance from Athletics Staff
- Support laundry operations for all athletics teams
- Support ATS with hydration station setup
ADDITIONAL REQUIRD EXPECTATIONS
- Good communication skills
- Arrive on time
- Ability to work outdoors
- Ability to work well with others
- Good people skills
- Professional interactions with supervisors and others
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
Be enrolled as full-time student at Schreiner University.
Maintain minimum 2.0 GPA.
-Skills:
- Ability to follow instruction, both written and verbal.
- Equipment maintenance experience preferred.
- Must have good people skills and good work ethic.
- Must be able to follow instructions in an emergency situation
- Must be reliable
- Must be cleared to operate a university cart
