Position Title: Advancement Student Administrative Assistant
Department: Advancement
Reports To: Executive Administrative Specialist
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
The Advancement Student Administrative Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the Office of Advancement, including the Alumni Relations and Development departments. This position assists with office administration, database maintenance, research communications, event support, and special projects while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Perform data entry, research, and document organization to support departmental projects and reporting.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records, files, and database information.
- Provide office support by answering phones, assisting visitors, processing mail, preparing documents, managing supplies, operating office equipment, and
completing general administrative tasks. - Support Advancement events and special projects through RSVP outreach, event preparation, research, document development, and logistical assistance.
- Maintain an organized, professional office environment and assist with departmental initiatives as assigned.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
- Open to freshman, sophomore, junior and senior-level students.
- Must be enrolled as a full-time student in good academic standing.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive information.
- Previous office, administrative, customer service, or database experience is preferred but not required.
