Stand Tall. Answer the Call. Help Finish Schreiner’s Cornerstone Campaign Strong

When we began the Cornerstone Campaign for Schreiner’s Second Century in June 2021, our goal was audacious, and it was grounded in the belief that a Schreiner education will change the lives of our students, and our students will become tomorrow’s leaders changing our lives and improving our region, the great state of Texas, and our nation. The Campaign celebrates 100 years of a rock-solid foundation set by the men and women who came before us and begins our second 100-year journey of building innovative programs, instruction, and student learning. Our priority for the campaign was and is laser focused, to make Schreiner more affordable through the creation of endowed scholarships and to build support for innovative programs that will enhance student learning. We said we will raise $50 million and create 100 new endowments. Well, with two months to go, we are almost there. The $50 million is within range, as is the creation of 100 new endowments.

But to finish strong, we need your help. We respectfully ask all of our alumni to Stand Tall and Answer the Call. Most of Schreiner’s supporters have no connection to Schreiner. They are community members, foundations, or organizations who support our students and understand how important Schreiner and our students are to our region. To reach our goals we will need your help, no matter how small or how large a gift you can make. A gift of $10 doesn’t seem like much, but $10 will pay for a meal for one of our undergraduate students. $10 is BIG! If you can do more, great. If not, whatever you can do is appreciated.

Ways you can be part of the Cornerstone Campaign: · Go to http://www.schreiner.edu/giving to make a one-time gift. You can even choose how your donation will be used.

· To elevate your impact, consider making a recurring gift or a multi-year pledge.

· If you want to learn how you can start endowment, contact your fellow Alumna and Schreiner’s Alumni Director Lea Nye ‘92.

· And perhaps, one of the easiest ways to give is to include Schreiner in your estate plans by making Schreiner a beneficiary of retirement plan, an insurance policy, or beneficiary in your will.

My 24 years at Schreiner has taught me several things: our students are awesome and the personal education we provide is special and important. Our alumni are the backbone of this special university and the keepers of over 100 years of tradition. Without you and our generous donors, we could not do the special work we do. Thank you!
