Schreiner University Announces Mountaineer Fan Experience Ahead of Football Game Against Austin College
Schreiner University will welcome students, alumni, families, fans and members of the Kerrville community to campus for the Mountaineer Fan Experience on Saturday, September 5, ahead of the Mountaineers’ football game against Austin College.
The new pregame experience will take place from 3:00 to 5:30 p.m. at The Trailhead on the Schreiner University campus and will provide fans with a central gathering place to begin game day before heading to Antler Stadium.
The Mountaineer Fan Experience will feature food trucks, drinks available at the Trailhead Beer Garden, a DJ, games and activities in a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere designed to bring the Schreiner community together before kickoff.
Rather than a traditional tailgate, the Mountaineer Fan Experience creates a shared pregame destination where students, alumni, parents, employees and community members can gather and celebrate Mountaineer football.
Following the event, fans are encouraged to make their way to Antler Stadium, where Schreiner will host Austin College at 6:00 p.m.
The Mountaineer Fan Experience is part of Schreiner University’s continued effort to create a memorable game-day atmosphere surrounding its football program while connecting the campus and Kerrville communities.
