Position Title: Athletic Work-Study Sports Information – Level 1
Department: Athletics
Reports To: Associate Athletic Director, SID
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
- Write post-game summaries, previews, and feature articles.
- Practice/game set-up and take down
- Keep live statistics for various sports using software (e.g., NCAA LiveStats, StatCrew, Genius)
- Take photos and/or video during practices or games
- Assist in managing and updating the athletics website (rosters, schedules, scores, bios).
- Create and post content for social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter/X, Facebook).
- Operate scoreboard, video equipment, or livestream production during games.
- Department marketing
- Sports Information Game Day management
- Organizational responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Capture and edit photos and video clips for social media, archives, and publications.
- Distribute stats and reports to coaches and media in a timely manner.
- Help with coverage of athletic events with sports information responsibilities
- Follow all university and NCAA/NAIA/NJCAA compliance and branding guidelines.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
Be enrolled as full-time student at Schreiner University.
Maintain minimum 2.0 GPA. -Skills:
- Ability to follow instructions, both written and verbal.
- Must have good people skills and good work ethic.
- Must be able to follow instructions in an emergency situation
- Must be reliable.
