The Schreiner University Mountaineer Immersion Nursing Summer Camp is an event you don’t want to miss! Join us and become part of the cohort of 9th -12th grade students who will experience nursing firsthand through a combination of activities. Schreiner’s nursing faculty will guide campers in hands on skills training, activities in immersive simulation labs, presentations, mentoring, and other activities designed to increase your knowledge of nursing and being a member of the healthcare team.
This three-day program is designed to encourage collaboration and building new friendships with other teens who are interested in the nursing profession. Students will spend three supervised nights on the Schreiner University campus in the dormitories and will have the opportunity to earn two certifications useful for summer jobs such as being a lifeguard, or babysitting.
