Schreiner University has been recognized in a list of top 50 marketing schools on a recent ranking by Study.com. They considered numerous marketing programs when ranking schools for this list and selected Schreiner University based on academic and career resources for marketing students, the quality of education in marketing, faculty and more.
Study.com noted on their website, “To recognize top marketing majors in the country, Study.com looked at undergraduate and graduate programs to rank them based on several factors. Considerations included publicly available data from the U.S. Department of Education and specific program factors that made each marketing degree program stand out.”
Study.com went on to say, “Schreiner’s marketing program is designed to help students build communication and teamwork skills. You get hands-on experience through internships or explore the role of marketing in business through field research projects. Alumni of the university play a major role in your education by offering mentorship and networking opportunities.”
“The marketing degree program at Schreiner employs a project-based learning pedagogy developed by Schreiner Assistant Professor, Dr. Daniel Coleman,” said Dr. David Smith, Director of Marketing and Communications. “Students in foundational marketing classes work synchronously with upper-level classes on real-world projects. Each class brings research and expertise from diverse areas that are synthesized together to form the best solution for the marketing challenge. The marketing degree program has a strong business ethics focus, training students to make ethical decisions, even when there are no consequences evident.”
“We are delighted to be recognized for the outstanding work of our faculty, students and alumni,” said Dr. Diana Comuzzie, Schreiner University Provost. “At Schreiner we recognize the value of combining a solid foundation in business with translatable skills and experiences for today’s marketplace. We know that the education our students receive prepares them well to be productive citizens and leaders in Texas and beyond.”
Included with this ranking is a custom badge from Study.com that Schreiner University can use to share this recognition on its website and in communications with current and potential students or other stakeholders.
