Schreiner University will host its Cooper Lecture Series titled “Gun Violence: A Public Epidemic? How would addressing it as a public health problem bring solutions?” on Monday, Nov 26 at 6 p.m. in the Ferguson-Dietert Chapel of the Junkin Campus Ministry Center.
The lecture will consist of a viewing of the documentary “Trigger: The Ripple Effect of Gun Violence” which was developed by Presbyterian Disaster Assistance
Following the documentary, there will be a guest panel featuring David Knight, Kerrville Police Chief, Dr. Ruth Grubesic, Professor of Public Health, and Dr. Marcus Hendershot, Assistant Professor of Political Science.
