Schreiner Nursing Presents Postpartum Depression Lecture

Schreiner University’s Nursing Department presents a lecture on Postpartum Depression and support group resources on Nov. 5 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Floyd and Kathleen Cailloux Campus Activity Center ballroom.

This event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be provided.

The lecture will include a screening of “Dark Side of the Full Moon” followed by a presentation from Maria Zeitz, LPC, MS, RN

Postpartum Depression has lingering effects that not only affect the mother, but the family as well. The community is invited to attend this free event to learn about this illness that plagues many families, and information on the resources that may be available for help and support.
