Educating and Preparing Hill Country for Future Hurricanes

The Hill Country Chapter of the National Weather Association in partnership with Schreiner University welcomes guest speaker Dr. Philip Klotzbach of Colorado State University. He is a world-renown hurricane researcher and co-author of Colorado State University’s Annual Hurricane Forecast.

On Wednesday, Aug 29th at 7 pm in the Schreiner University Library, Dr. Klotzbach will speak about the “Cause and Effects of Hurricanes Impacting Texas.” He will answer questions following his presentation. Local meteorologists will also be available to answer questions.

This educational opportunity is free and open to the public. Weather enthusiasts, Hill Country residents, Schreiner University students, media and first responders are invited to attend.
