Schreiner University invites applications for an instructor in our Licensed Vocational Nursing program beginning January 2024. Our one-year program runs from January to December and recently celebrated its 50-year anniversary.
The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to teaching nursing students in the clinical and/or didactic components of medical/surgical, critical care, sexual and reproductive health, population health, pediatrics, and/or mental health, as well as contribute to the university outside of the classroom.
Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing required; Master of Science in Nursing preferred. Must be a RN for two years and licensed in the state of TX (or hold compact licensure). Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
