Schreiner University seeks applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Chemistry to begin August 2022. The successful candidate must be able to teach all levels of chemistry including introductory, general, organic, analytical, and inorganic chemistry. An expertise in analytical instrumentation and/or fermentation science that has previous experience with: UVVis, FTIR, NMR, GC, LC-MS techniques and maintenance is preferred.
Full-time faculty have responsibilities for student advising, service, and professional development in addition to teaching responsibilities. The successful candidate will be expected to participate fully in departmental duties, committee service, campus activities, and engage in scholarship aligned with institutional goals.
Ph.D. in Chemistry or a closely related field or ABD with completion no later than August 2022.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and staff.
