Schreiner University in Kerrville, TX invites applications for an Agriculture and Natural Resources Management (ANRM) Curriculum Specialist to begin January 2024. Schreiner University is developing a new ANRM program to be launched in Fall 2024, and the successful candidate will facilitate development of the ANRM program.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Fully develop courses for the ANRM program.
2. Select textbooks and other instructional materials, with a particular focus on open educational resources (OER).
3. Devise yearly course sequences and term rotations, which include expectations for which parts of the curriculum must be covered within a given year.
4. Participate in or facilitate curriculum review committees.
5. Stay informed of trends in instructional methods and educational technology.
6. Assist instructors in incorporating new technology into their lessons.
7. Provide feedback to instructors based on individual observation and student performance data.
8. Use data to monitor performance in meeting externally imposed standards.
9. Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in agriculture and/or natural resources management or a related field; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified is preferred.
