Schreiner University in Kerrville, TX invites applications for an Agriculture and Natural Resources Management (ANRM) Curriculum Specialist to begin January 2024. Schreiner University is developing a new ANRM program to be launched in Fall 2024, and the successful candidate will facilitate development of the ANRM program.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Fully develop courses for the ANRM program.
- Select textbooks and other instructional materials, with a particular focus on open educational resources (OER).
- Devise yearly course sequences and term rotations, which include expectations for which parts of the curriculum must be covered within a given year.
- Participate in or facilitate curriculum review committees.
- Stay informed of trends in instructional methods and educational technology.
- Assist instructors in incorporating new technology into their lessons.
- Provide feedback to instructors based on individual observation and student performance data.
- Use data to monitor performance in meeting externally imposed standards.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in agriculture and/or natural resources management or a related field; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified is preferred.
