Take your love of reading to the next level by joining our Schreiner University Virtual Book Club!

Connect with fellow alumni, faculty, staff and students as we read a wide range of books, engage in stimulating discussion, and enhance our journey toward lifelong learning and personal growth.

Participation is free!

You will be given a one-two month period to read each book and there will be up to five books a year. Participants will come together in a virtual setting to discuss the book.

The club will be reading the following book from May-July:

Frequently Asked Questions

How often will books be read, what is the time commitment and what are the expectations?
We plan to start the book club by reading one book every two-three months. The texts selected will be lifelong learning, personal growth, novels and other books.

Will there be any in-person meetings of the book club?
We will meet in a virtual setting to discuss the book at a prearranged date and time. We will post the link for you to join.

Is there any cost to participate?
Participation is free for all alumni, faculty, students and staff!

How do I get the books?
Participants can get books for free at their local library or purchase them.

How do book club discussions work?
The leader of each book discussion will have questions and share with the group during the online meeting.
