Rio Grande Valley and El Paso high school graduates are invited to find their way to Schreiner University via its First Year Campuses in Mission, Brownsville and El Paso.

As Schreiner freshmen, students have the opportunity to complete their first year at the one of the nearby campuses, and enter their sophomore year debt free at the main Kerrville, TX campus. We will support your transition to the main campus with a full financial aid package for your Sophomore year and beyond that includes up to $17,000 of scholarships per year, up to $11,000 of grants per year, and other financial support that will enable you to graduate from Schreiner University in four years!

Schreiner University is now offering a FIRST YEAR CAMPUS in your town. This is an incredible opportunity to attend your first year of college in your local community.

As Schreiner freshmen, students have the opportunity to complete their first year in Brownsville, El Paso, or Mission and enter their sophomore year DEBT FREE at the main Kerrville, TX campus.

STUDENT REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must apply to Schreiner University
  • Must have 30 or less dual credit hours
  • Must meet admission standards
  • Must apply for federal aid

Mountaineer Days

You will have the opportunity to experience campus on a tour led by a current student as well as meet with a faculty member and one of our admissions team members to talk about your application, scholarships and financial aid! Tours are available Monday through Friday at 10 AM, 1 PM, and 3 PM, and select Saturdays in the Spring.
