Schreiner Choir performance slated for March 29
The Schreiner choir will perform “Three is the Magic Number” at 7 p.m., Sunday, March 29 at the Kathleen Cailloux Theatre.
“Three is the Magic Number” will include songs from a year that ends with a three or use the symbolism of three. The choir will perform songs from “Wicked,” “Avenue Q,” “Hairspray,” “Oklahoma,” and pop songs including “Every Breath You Take” and “She Loves You.”
Michael Kahl, director of the Schreiner choir, said he chose the theme because three is the number of good fortune, and the number was considered the number of harmony, wisdom and understanding.
The event will kick off at 6 p.m. with light appetizers and refreshments, including wine.
Tickets for the event are $23 for general admission and $10 for children 12 years of age and younger. To purchase tickets, contact Kahl at firstname.lastname@example.org or 830-792-7417.
All proceeds go toward the Schreiner Music Department and future Schreiner choir trips.
