Margaret Syers Lecture Series

The Margaret Syers Lecture Series is set for 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2014, in the River Room of the Floyd & Kathleen Cailloux Campus Activity Center on the SU campus.

Margaret Syers taught English at Tivy High School for many years. As a tribute to her commitment to teaching and to the value and beauty of literature, her family created this lecture series in her memory. Featured speakers focus on literary topics with preference given to topics pertaining to Shakespeare.

This year, Dr. Molly A. Martin, associate professor of English at McNeese State University, will lecture.

The event is free and open to the public.
