SU Shooting wins big at 46th ACUI Championship

SU Shooting wins big at 46th ACUI Championship

The Schreiner Shooting Team shot their way to the 2014 Division III Runner Up High Overall National Champions title, and the National Champion in Division III American Trap at the 46th Annual ACUI Collegiate Clay Target Championships hosted in San Antonio last week.

Remington McBee won the 2014 Men’s HOA National Champion title, and he also was selected to the ACUI All-American Team.

Schreiner Shooting Team members competed in six different shooting events and won many individual awards on their way to claiming their title.

International Shootout:
McBee won first place in Men’s International Skeet, Miranda Wilder won fourth place in Women’s International Bunker Trap and Tori Burch won fifth place in Women’s International Bunker Trap.

International Trap:
In Women’s International Trap, Wilder won first place.
The SU International Trap Team of Wilder, McBee and Neal Hodges took first place in the Division III International Trap Team competition.

International Skeet:
The combined scores of Logan Brinkley, McBee and Hodges earned fourth place in Division III International Skeet Team.

American Skeet:
The combined scores of Hodges, Brinkley and McBee earned them first place in Division III American Skeet Team.

Combined Events:
In the International Combined events, McBee earned first place. In the Skeet Combined events McBee won second place, and in the Trap Combined events Wilder won first place.
