Big Idea Leadership Lecture slated for April 30

The Big Idea

Matt Goodwyn, assistant dean of students, and Jake Crawley, SU senior, will speak at the Big Idea Leadership Lecture series at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 30, in room 106 of the Moody Science Building on the Schreiner campus.

The series centers around an idea found in the novel “World War Z”—society has fallen and it is your obligation to reconstruct society—what are your rights and responsibilities during and after?

The lecturers in this series also pose a challenging question, or thought, that serves as a touchstone for an open conversation with the audience. This series doesn’t just provide a lectures, it provides experiences that engage students and urge them to think beyond the limits.

This lecture deals with adult themes and content. All teens younger than 17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to attend.

This event is free and open to the public.

For more information on the lecture series, contact Matt Goodwyn, assistant dean for leadership and student engagement, at 792-7330.
