Monday Night Fiction to explore ‘Gun Shy’

April Monday Night Fiction "Gun Shy"

Schreiner University’s Monday Night Fiction series will discuss “Gun Shy,” by Ben Rehder at 7 p.m., Monday, April 21 in the Scarle-Philips Room in the William Logan Library. Dr. Carrie West, assistant professor of communication studies, will lead the discussion.

“Gun Shy” is a mystery set in Blanco County—days before the National Weapons Alliance Rally is to take place, an illegal immigrant is killed in a questionable hunting accident, a local game warden is poking around for clues about the murder and the host of the NWA rally isn’t who he claims to be. Soon, the entire town of Blanco is in the middle of a national scandal and headed straight for the line of fire.

Monday Night Fiction is free and open to the public. For more information about the event, contact Silke Feltz at 830-792-7324.
