SU Receives Appreciation Award from City of Kerrville

The City of Kerrville awarded Schreiner University with a plaque of special appreciation at its city council meeting on April 22.

The award recognized the volunteer work Schreiner students did with the Community Service Initiative (CSI) Neighborhood Improvement event on March 29. SU had approximately 100 students volunteer, alongside community members, to clear brush and trash around Locust Street and Holdsworth Dr.

The event was organized by Partners in Ministry, the City of Kerrville and the Office of Student Activities and Volunteer Service at Schreiner University.
