Schreiner, Hatchett to present ‘Celebrating the Constitution’
The Schreiner University Center for Innovative Learning will sponsor “Celebrating the Constitution: A Lesson in Compromise” at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 14, in the ballroom of the Floyd & Kathleen Cailloux Campus Activity Center on the University campus. The presentation, by Dr. Ron Hatchett, director of global studies and visiting professor at Schreiner, is part of the CIL series Conversations from the Heart of Schreiner. The event will be free and open to the public.
Hatchett is well-known locally as a speaker on international affairs. He served in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years in intelligence and politico-military affairs and was a senior civilian official in the Department of Defense working with arms control and international security issues during President Reagan’s administration. He is a frequent world news analyst for local and national TV and radio.
