Schreiner Campus

The Facilities Services office is responsible for everything that happens behind-the-scenes at Schreiner.  Our office is located in the Facilities Services Complex, just past the tennis courts behind Trull  [campus map].  The office handles the following issues campus-wide: air conditioning & heating issues, landscaping (mowing, tree/shrub/flower planting), construction maintenance (repairs, etc.), day-to-day event coordination & set-up (PA system, etc.), carpentry & painting for campus buildings & roadways facilitation with Information Technology for building networking ... and so much more!

2014/2015 Projects
The following project and remodels were completed during the summer of 2014 into the spring of 2015:

  • The completion of the Loftis Center Field Biology Lab and Observatory
  • The Completion of The 34,000 square feet Event Center/basketball arena
  • Remodel of Cailloux Activity Center with relocation of the Registrar’s office to an accessible location
  • Landscaping with drip irrigation on the academic quad
  • Remodeling of Dickey Hall for Title V project
  • Remodel of The Weir Bldg. ground floor
  • Installation of new fan coil units’ middle floor of Weir Bldg
  • Replacement of old pneumatic controls in the Library air condition system to more energy efficient digital controls
  • Remodel of Delaney Residence Hall including new air conditioning units
  • Total furniture replacement in Pecan Grove apartment building number 3
